Health and Safety Assurance Expert

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Assurance professional to join our team. As a champion of key improvements in health & safety, you will drive change management and enterprise solutions, ensuring conformance with regulatory requirements and improving HSE management system outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee HSE assurance programs aligned with business and HSE strategies
  • Support the business in obtaining and maintaining external management system certifications such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001
  • Provide scheduling and logistical support for internal and external assurance activities
  • Evaluate HSE documents for compliance with workplace health and safety and environmental legislation

This is a national role requiring monthly travel (~1 week). We offer a competitive remuneration package, superannuation, bonus, and free medical insurance, among other benefits.

To be successful, you will have a minimum Diploma in work health and safety or a related discipline, with at least 5 years' experience in work, health, and safety, preferably in large complex organizations. Experience as an ISO 45001/ISO 14001 auditor and proficiency in developing HSE information management systems are highly valued.
