About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Qantas. As a key member of our Mechanical Maintenance Engineering team, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and rectification to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform aircraft maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers' and company specifications.
  • Work with specialist teams in a hangar environment to provide excellent engineering standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, with a focus on safety, quality, reliability, and service.
Requirements
  • Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical).
  • Relevant Aircraft Maintenance trade experience (Mechanical).
  • Extensive servicing experience on A320, A330, and B737 aircraft in a base maintenance environment.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Qantas Maintenance procedures.
  • Commitment to all safe working practices and service standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to being customer-focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
  • Highly developed attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated high ethical/behavioral standards and self-discipline.
  • Ability to work rotating shift rosters.
