About the Role

As a strategic Cyber assurance specialist, you will lead key program and development activities for our customers. This role is pivotal in shaping our systems portfolio to meet stringent security standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive Cyber assurance assessments across our systems portfolio, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Provide expert Cyber security advice for systems across the organization, leveraging industry knowledge and experience.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise IT specialists, project managers, and other internal teams on incident response requirements and standards, fostering a culture of cooperation and information sharing.
  • Develop and implement awareness and educational programs for incident response compliance, promoting a proactive approach to security.
  • Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and high levels of integrity to protect client information and data, upholding the highest ethical standards.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Australian Security Clearance at the NV2 Level is required; Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with security controls within the Australian Government context, including ISM, PSPF, and DSPF knowledge, is highly desirable.
  • A Cyber security diploma or degree, or equivalent experience, is essential; industry certifications like ISO27001 lead auditor, CISA, CISSP, IRAP are highly sought after.
  • Highly organized, task-oriented individuals with self-starting abilities and minimal supervision needs are ideal candidates for this role.
  • Ability to adapt plans and goals in response to changing business environments is crucial, demonstrating agility and resilience.

This role requires a strong understanding of Cyber security principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. The selected candidate will be expected to think critically, innovate solutions, and make informed decisions that align with the organization's objectives.
