We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced risk professional to lead the delivery of an enterprise risk management framework and coordinate risk identification, reporting, and management activities across the City's groups to promote business excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and best practices in strategy, policy, and procedure.
- Lead the management of the City's risk registers and ensure effective risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on risk management and governance to the City's leadership and management teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Commerce, Law, or a relevant discipline.
- Significant experience in risk management, preferably in a local government or similar environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A competitive salary package, including a base salary of $115K per annum + Super.
- A permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week.
- A brand new office location at Yarrila Place, with options for flexible working arrangements.
