School-based traineeships are an excellent way for students to gain hands-on experience and build a career in the plumbing industry. At Reece Group, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Supply Chain Operations Trainees. Located in Armadale VIC, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading international company and develop valuable skills in customer service, stock management, and sales processing.

About the Role:

This is a school-based traineeship that involves working at one of our branches while completing certificate requirements. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations and gain practical experience in the plumbing industry. As a trainee, you will be responsible for embracing our company values, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to maintaining a high-standard branch environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Embracing the Reece values, policies, and procedures
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Completing all requirements of the Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations
  • Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Managing stock levels and maintaining a tidy workplace
  • Answering phone calls and taking messages/orders
  • Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Developing product knowledge and recommending products to customers
  • Contributing to maintaining a positive and inclusive team environment

  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Team player with a willingness to contribute to a collaborative environment
  • Well-presented and able to maintain a neat and tidy workspace

Working Hours:

The successful applicant will be required to work the equivalent of one and a half days per week. Additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to assist in your progress.

Location:

This role is based at our Plumbing Armadale VIC branch.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base hourly rate of approximately $18-$20 AUD per hour, depending on the level of experience and qualifications. This rate is estimated based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
