The Role:
As a Critical Care Physician with JPS Medical, you will be part of a dynamic five-member ICU Consultant team providing high-level inpatient and outreach critical care services in the region. Your responsibilities will include participating in the education and training of ICU trainees, junior doctors, medical students, and ICU nursing staff.
The Location:
We are situated in one of Australia's oldest cities, offering a unique blend of rich cultural heritage, vibrant Georgian streetscapes, and access to magnificent natural attractions such as the Cataract Gorge Reserve and beautiful parks and gardens.
The Facility:
JPS Medical is a 300-bed tertiary facility that provides acute care services and treats over 24,000 inpatients and over 225,000 outpatients annually.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer an estimated salary range of $250,000 - $320,000 per annum, reflecting the high level of expertise required for this role. Requirements:
- You should hold the FCICM or
- be an overseas Intensivist with experience managing ICUs and have been assessed by the CICM as substantially comparable to an Australian-trained Intensivist.
