Automotive Technician Specialist

A leading transport engineering and truck body building company is looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to fit out equipment as required in the manufacture of our truck tipper bodies. This role is suited to an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a team player attitude.
- Demonstrated experience in auto electrical fit-out/repair in the heavy vehicle industry.
- Trade qualified in Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle with proven industry experience.
- Experience in hydraulics would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Have a high level of pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge in vehicle automotive systems engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking etc.
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision.
- Solid communication skills.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Capacity to work to deadlines and good time management skills.
The remuneration will be based on previous experience in a similar role.

- Trade certificate (or verification/demonstration of competency & other qualifications). A Certificate III in Automotive (Heavy Vehicle) is preferred.

- Able to complete duties with minimal to no supervision
- Physically fit and able to perform all manual tasks
