$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an Operational Safety Expert to join our team at the Solomon mine. As a key member of the Integrated Operations Team, you will assist in developing and implementing safety management systems to ensure a safe working environment.

The successful candidate will engage with leaders to provide advice on achieving HSES performance objectives, support team members with coaching and mentoring, and assist in incident investigations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on safety matters to leaders and team members
  • Support the development and implementation of safety management systems
  • Assist in incident investigations and risk management
  • Liaise with line management, consultants, and government bodies as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated substantial experience as a safety advisor in an operational environment
  • Relevant Work Health & Safety qualifications (Cert IV WHS or Diploma)
  • High motivation and output under minimal supervision
  • Experience in data analysis, trending, and reporting
  • Current 'C' Class Western Australian Driver's License or equivalent
