Job Opportunity: Catering Support Role

We are seeking a qualified individual to provide catering support to our residents in a friendly, close-knit community.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Chef/Cook to prepare daily meals and beverages that cater to individual needs, including special dietary requirements, allergies, and culturally specific instructions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service delivery under the direction of the Chef/Cook
  • Prepare daily meals and beverages that meet individual resident needs, including special dietary requirements and allergies
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, adhering to environmental service standards
  • Follow National Food Safety Program guidelines, ensuring accurate food safety records and preventing cross-contamination

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement and adherence to industry standards
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control principles
  • Ability to operate standard domestic and industrial equipment
  • Demonstrated experience in food preparation and food safety an advantage
