Job Opportunity: Auto Electrician

Hitachi Construction Machinery offers a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced auto electrician. As part of our Gunnedah Workshop team, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluation and maintenance services on a wide range of Hitachi machinery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing diagnostic evaluations and maintaining electrical systems on heavy machinery
  • Attending to production breakdowns and undertaking diagnostic work to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Working with technical support staff to achieve optimal outcomes and contribute to product improvements
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting paperwork to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, and other departments

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A trade certificate in auto electrical services
  • Intermediate computer skills, with the ability to analyze technical data and reports
  • Strong communication skills and a focus on safety
  • The ability to adapt to different teams, rosters, environments, and workloads
