Job Summary:

O'Brien Glass Industries Limited is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Windscreen Fitter. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in the auto glass industry and gain hands-on experience in windscreen fitting and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced windscreen fitters in the repair and replacement of windshields and other glass components
  • Learn and develop skills in windscreen fitting, chip repair, and recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
  • Participate in O'Brien's Auto Technician Skills Development Program to gain a Certificate III in Automotive Glazing
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for clients
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles
  • Reliable and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and overtime
