Machine Operator and Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator and Maintenance Technician to join our team at Snapper Point Power Station.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine, preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance tasks on gas turbine generators and hydraulic systems.

As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the power station.

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent mechanical skills, knowledge of site HSE legislation and a proactive approach to safety matters.

You will also need to have experience in operating and maintaining power plant equipment, as well as a high risk license in turbine operations.

Our ideal candidate will possess a mechanical fitting trade qualification, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and DCS systems, and have strong communication and diagnostic skills.
