The Role:This role offers a lot of autonomy, flexibility, and variety. You will be working closely with the senior Legal team, receive great training and mentoring. You also have the incentive to earn a generous bonus when you refer new business.
- Assisting solicitors with various legal tasks, including drafting court documents, correspondences, briefs to Counsel and third parties, and other documents;
- Providing administrative support to solicitors as required;
- File Management, including saving and naming files, coordinating court dates, recording file notes, utilising practice management software to ensure proper and clean file hygiene;
- Managing hardcopy filing, copying, scanning, answering and making telephone calls to clients and third parties;
- Drafting letters of engagement, updated costs estimate, and tracking client engagement;
- Engage in business development to drive new business
Our client is looking for an experienced paralegal who can hit the ground running and ensure smooth running of the Family Law matters. Two days will never be the same, so an efficient self-starter who is able to multitask and maintain positive relationships with clients is essential.
Required Skills & Experience:- 1-2 years Paralegal experience, MUST have Family Law experience
- LEAP software experience would be ideal, strong computer skills in Microsoft Office programs are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work independently, as a team and under the supervision of senior solicitors;
- Strong attention to detail & excellent time management;
- Positive, professional and flexible attitude, punctual and prompt.
