NASCARE, a premium service provider for individuals with disabilities in South Australia, is seeking two (2) Disabled Carers to provide tailored care and assistance to individuals with disabilities in Woodville West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored care and assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and daily living activities.
  • Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and hygiene.
  • Support and assist clients with their mobility and domestic routines.
  • Develop relationships with participants and families to provide emotional support and promote social skills.
  • Provide safe surroundings and assistance with medication.
  • Monitor participant progress and report any changes or concerns as necessary.
  • Keep precise records and documentation in compliance with organizational standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support/Mental Health or equivalent.
  • One (1) year of prior relevant working experience.
  • Medication Administration Accreditation.
  • Valid Driver Licence.
  • First Aid and CPR.
  • Manual Handling Training is desirable.
  • CPI/MAPA/Mental Health First Aid is desirable.
  • Any additional trainings such as PEG/Bowel/Diabetes is an advantage.
