Artificial Intelligence Specialist

This role involves leveraging the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning to drive innovation and improvement in a business-critical program.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, and multi-stage orchestration. Experience with cloud-native AI services such as Azure AI Document Intelligence and Azure OpenAI is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include building machine learning pipelines to process complex financial documents, applying LLMs, OCR and enrichment techniques to extract, classify and structure data, and ensuring governance, auditability and explainability across all AI-driven outcomes.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with engineering, CloudOps and security teams to align with standards and deliver operational solutions that meet the needs of the business.

Additionally, the candidate will mentor and upskill offshore engineers, documenting approaches and frameworks, and work directly with business stakeholders to validate proofs of concept and deliver operational solutions.

Key qualifications for this role include strong programming background in Python or .NET, experience with OCR, text extraction, data formatting and validation pipelines, and a strong grounding in governance, auditability and production-grade deployments.

  • Design and build intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions using machine learning pipelines.
  • Apply large language models (LLMs), optical character recognition (OCR) and enrichment techniques to extract, classify and structure data.
  • Ensure governance, auditability and explainability across all AI-driven outcomes.
  • Deploy solutions on Microsoft Azure (preferred) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS Bedrock) as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with engineering, CloudOps and security teams to align with standards.
  • Mentor and upskill offshore engineers, documenting approaches and frameworks.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to validate proofs of concept and deliver operational solutions.
