Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Children's Activities Party Host, delivering fun and engaging birthday party experiences at our Recreation Centre.

The City is committed to creating and maintaining a safe environment for children and preventing harm in all aspects of our operations.

  • Deliver safe and enjoyable birthday parties for children aged up to 12 years.
  • Confidently lead parties without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
  • Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism throughout each party.
  • Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.

To be successful you will have:

  • A good level of physical fitness and ability to participate in activities with children.
  • Availability to work Friday nights and weekends.
  • Prior experience hosting children's parties (highly regarded).
  • A passion for working and engaging with children aged up to 12 years.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
