Leadership Position in Technical Waste Management

The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced leader to join our team in Shepparton, Victoria. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee our Technical Waste Solutions (TWS) Operations and provide strategic leadership to the TWS Operations workforce.
About the Role
- Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum
- This pivotal role requires an individual with excellent leadership skills and experience in managing technical operations.
- As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant operation of our state-of-the-art treatment facility.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and timely processing of materials through the facility.
- Manage external contractors for incoming and outbound materials.
- Operate manual and computerized controls to maintain plant functionality.
- Conduct on-site reviews to ensure environmental compliance.
- Assist in maintaining ISO accreditation.
- Ensure proper qualification and training of all employees.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Veolia Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
- Talent for building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication and negotiation.
