Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our team.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with our qualified PBS Leaders to deliver community, clinic, and telehealth-based services to NDIS participants of all ages.

You will be responsible for building relationships with participants and key stakeholders, conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA), developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans, and providing training and education to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build relationships with participants and key stakeholders.
  2. Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
  3. Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans that can include function-based strategies.
  4. Provide training and education to stakeholders.
  5. Review and reduce restrictive practices in accordance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines.
  6. Regular data collection and monitoring progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with the NDIS and being endorsed against the PBS Capability Framework.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree.
  • A learning mindset and commitment to continuous development.
  • Experience supervising or coaching others or willingness to develop clinical leadership skills.
  • NDISWC / WWCC or willingness to apply.
  • Current Australian driver's license and ability to travel with your own vehicle.
