Job Title:

Operational Risk and Resilience Manager

  • Taking charge of developing, maintaining and overseeing policies and standards to minimize business disruption and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ensuring robust resilience plans are in place to support critical operations during crises.
  • Conducting operational risk reviews across the organization and oversight of controls to align with strategy, business outcomes and compliance with APRA Prudential Standards.
  • Oversight of control design and implementation, recurring risks and controls review, and resilience assurance and support for APRA notification/consultation.
  • Providing second line challenge and oversight against operational risks, and governance frameworks.
  • Analyzing risk profiles, incident and issue data, assessment of Key Risk Indicators and preparing insights for fact-based reporting on Operational Risk performance and activity across the bank.
About the Role:

This role offers a flexible work arrangement with the option to work from home two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and oversee policies and standards to reduce business disruption and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Ensure robust business resilience plans are in place to maintain critical operations and services during crises.
  • Targeted operational risk reviews across the business and oversight of controls to support alignment with strategy, business outcomes and compliance with APRA Prudential Standards.
