Job Opportunity: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as a retail sales associate.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a fast-paced retail environment, possess excellent communication skills, and be friendly and engaging with customers.

The role involves working two days a week on an ongoing basis, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 4pm. An interest in customer service and sales is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and sales support

Requirements:

  • Experience in a retail sales environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in customer service and sales

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An interest in cooking and ingredients is a plus

Working Conditions:

The role involves working two days a week on an ongoing basis, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 4pm. The location is based in South Melbourne, and it would be advantageous to live close to this area as you will need to pay for parking or take public transport.
