Job Title: Production Operator

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a skilled Production Operator with a background in batching/mixing in food manufacturing. Our client is a family-run, Australian-owned company that values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.

About the Role:

As a Batching/Mixing Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality products by mixing raw ingredients in accordance with corresponding recipes. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate ovens in a hot environment to ensure effective production and packaging of products.
  • Mix raw ingredients into set batches to meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Ensure plant and equipment run smoothly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Handle and transport ingredients safely and efficiently.
  • Perform various production tasks as required, including packaging goods in a high-quality manner.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as filling out forms and entering data into the system.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in food manufacturing environments is essential.
  • A good understanding of food safety principles and practices.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 15kg and work in a hot environment.
