We are seeking experienced trade-qualified mechanics to work as our Independent Mobile Vehicle Inspectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a range of vehicle inspections for RACQ Members and commercial customers using your mechanical expertise.
  • Assist members and customers by inspecting and testing various motor vehicles, utilizing inspection procedures and report types.
  • Answer technical questions related to inspections, providing accurate and comprehensive advice and reports.
  • Document inspection outcomes.
  • Hold or acquire an Approved Examiner (AE) licence from Qld Transport to issue Safety Certificates (RWC).
  • Hold an Open Australian Driver's License.
  • Have an ABN.
  • Use suitable equipment to carry out inspections (list provided).
  • Own a mobile phone or tablet.
  • Hold own insurances and public liability policies.

  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge.
