Financial Analyst

Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to oversee the financial accounting functions of our organisation.

You will work closely with senior colleagues to deliver comprehensive financial reporting, budget management and long-term planning strategies.

This role involves preparing statutory returns, managing treasury services, assisting with internal reviews and delivering high-quality financial reports.

To be successful in this position, you will require:

• A Bachelor of Commerce or similar qualification
• Studying towards or eligibility for Certified Practising Accountant status (CPA Australia) or Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia)
• Experience working in a relevant finance field
• An understanding of relevant Accounting Standards
• Sound knowledge of accounting systems and computer concepts
• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong numerical, analytical skills and attention to detail
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including liaison, consultation and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a team environment
