About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restoration State Manager to lead, develop, and grow our QLD restoration business.

The successful applicant will have experience across both site-based restoration projects and restoration management.

  • Oversee a team delivering restoration outcomes for multiple small, medium to large domestic and commercial restoration projects within the Insurance industry.
  • Manage staff and project outcomes, overseeing site-based estimating and supervision work, as well as operational management of the business.

Requirements:

  • Proven skills in both domestic and commercial reinstatement works
  • Experience working directly with clients, building consultants, and all construction related trades and suppliers
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
  • Interpersonal skills to deal with both internal and external customers building long term relationships
  • People management skills to effectively lead and drive team outcomes
  • Able to develop business through quality service delivery

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in the insurance repair industry is essential
  • Thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permit and WHS requirements
  • Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation
  • Track record of establishing and maintaining long term relationships/accounts
  • Previous experience in interacting with multiple stakeholders at different levels
  • Proven Business Development experience within the Insurance industry.
