The University of Sydney School of Medical Sciences is seeking a Lecturer to join our team. As a leading centre for medical science education, we offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the training of the next generation of medical scientists.

About the Opportunity
  • Undertake independent teaching in disciplines within medical sciences, including anatomy, physiology, immunology, and pathology, contributing to outstanding educational design, delivery, evaluation, and outcomes.
  • Engage in high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the University's expectations and standards for education.
  • Design and deliver quality educational units of study and experiences that support student needs and meet curriculum requirements.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of multi-disciplinary units and content, as well as work-integrated learning.
Key Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold a doctorate or PhD in a relevant field and possess a developing network of relationships with key academic, industry, and professional institutions, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives is essential.
  • Experience in teaching and learning, as evidenced by participation in team teaching and teaching in a variety of settings, is also required.
  • A commitment to professionalism in learning and teaching by completing or working towards Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship or similar is expected.
