Advanced Nursing Professional Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an Advanced Nursing Professional to contribute to patient care at Alice Springs Hospital. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with chronic diseases such as diabetes and renal disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, safe patient-centered care to improve management of diabetes and prevent complications
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Conduct regular health assessments and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner in Australia
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. Master's degree in Nursing)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
