Role Overview

The role is focused on delivering occupational therapy services to individuals with disabilities. As an occupational therapist, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clients with diverse needs and abilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that promote independence and participation
  • Provide environmental modification advice to support clients in their daily lives
  • Recommend and facilitate the use of assistive technology to enhance client outcomes
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration as an occupational therapist with the relevant professional body
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A client-centred approach to practice, with a focus on empowering clients to achieve their goals
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
