About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Auto-Electrician to join our team at William Adams in Clayton, Vic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems on CAT Earthmoving equipment, including air-conditioning systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completion of onsite trouble-shooting, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical CAT equipment
  • Fitting of electrical safety equipment
  • Air conditioning repairs and maintenance
  • Completion of all required paperwork accurately and effectively
  • Providing quality customer service at all times

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Trade Certificate in Automotive Electrical Fitting or equivalent
  • Air Conditioning ARC accreditation
  • Current drivers licence
  • Previous experience diagnosing CAT machinery
  • Experience in Caterpillar electrical and laptop diagnosis (highly desirable)
  • You will be proficient in the diagnosis and repair of all types of electrical systems
  • A strong commitment to safety, health, and environment procedures
