In this role, you will play a critical part in achieving our objectives. As a Procurement Specialist Lead, you will oversee procurement activities on Fluor projects, ensuring compliance with statues, regulations, and procurement terms and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Procurement Support: Support procurement activities on large-scale projects, with a work scope of US$250 million to US$1 billion (or global equivalent); duties may include assisting multiple procurement specialists with the preparation and execution of pre-award and post-award activities.
- Commercial Contract Management: Read and understand the Prime Contract.
- Negotiations and Agreements: Participate in negotiations, including Request for Proposal (RFP) and RFP explanation meetings, contract pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract documents.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in procurement, contracting, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
