Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at Woolworths Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance works in accordance with planned schedules.
  • Monitor replacement spare part inventory and recommend capital works to reduce operational costs.
  • Collaborate with our facilities management, support, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Work closely with construction teams to inform engineers, plan for replacements, and assist in prioritizing capital works.
Requirements
  • Trade qualifications in Refrigeration.
  • Current QBCC Occupational Mechanical Services - Air Con & Refrig (Limited Design), QBCC Occupational Mechanical Services - Plumbing, Arctic licence, Gas Work (Hydrocarbon) Licence, Drivers Licence and Energy Safe Restricted Electrical Worker's licence.
  • Solid post-apprenticeship experience in the commercial refrigeration service and installation industry.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, travel to various sites, and be on call as required.
  • A good level of computer literacy.
  • An understanding of C02 systems, Emerson & RDM controls advantageous.
