Support Worker

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care assistance, including showering, toileting, dressing, and more
  • Administering medications as required
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers using hoists and slide sheets
  • Performing domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Supporting individuals in community engagement, including attending appointments, shopping, and social activities

Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours on a roster system
  • Capacity to complete sleepover shifts with a $60.24 allowance
  • Desirable: Cert III or IV in Individual Support or Disability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Calm and confident in all environments, with a strong understanding of professional boundaries
  • Commitment to providing care with dignity and sensitivity
