We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Wintringham, a leading not-for-profit welfare organisation. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation by driving excellence in financial processes and procedures.

The Role

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with monthly accounts processing, including balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and journal processing. You will also assist with regular external reporting, implement new programs and projects, and participate in the continuous improvement cycle.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in accounting or a related field from a recognised institution or university;
  • Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia or CPA Australia or studying towards these or equivalent further study;
  • Technical skills and experience in financial or management accounting;
  • Investigative and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyse financial information;
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in using other Microsoft Office applications;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working within a finance team.
