We are seeking a Site Utility Operations Technician to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Site Utility Operations Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our clean and black utility systems, including steam boilers, air compressors, chillers & cooling towers, air handling units, water softeners, purified water (RO & WFI), and wastewater systems.
The Site Utility Operations Technician will work closely with our multi-functional teams to ensure that maintenance activities are completed on time and to the required standard, and provide training and coaching to colleagues.
This is a 12-hour rotating shift role, and the incumbent will be expected to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities- Support the operation and maintenance of clean and black utility systems, including steam boilers, air compressors, chillers & cooling towers, air handling units, water softeners, purified water (RO & WFI), and wastewater systems.
- Work closely with multi-functional teams to identify and resolve problems related to utility system operations and maintenance.
- Ensure maintenance activities are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Provide training and coaching to colleagues to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- NITEC or Diploma in Engineering-related qualifications.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- First-class boiler attendant certification.
