Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automated Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and delivering automated systems solutions for warehouses, distribution centres, and production facilities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative automated solutions. As an Automated Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing automated systems specifications, including AGV system design and programming;
  • Ensuring quality and system processes are followed within assigned projects;
  • Collaborating with technical experts to deliver high-quality solutions;
  • Assisting in AGV system testing and integration, and AGV factory testing;
  • Supporting projects in managing costs and schedules;
  • Participating in training operators and assisting in the development and improvement of the AGV project delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering;
  • Recent Grad or 1-2 years experience;
  • Knowledge of PLC configuration, programming, and commissioning;
  • Knowledge of PC and basic programming (PLC Structured Text, SICK Devices, C or C++ highly desirable);
  • Experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis, and trouble shooting;
  • Experience in electrical design using AutoCAD or similar 2D and 3D drawing packages;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Hunger and ability to learn.
