Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team at C.H. Robinson in Oceania.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of customs processes, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining Operational Excellence:
  • Develop an understanding of Customs requirements and Partner Government Agency involvement in international trade transactions
  • Prepare import declarations for shipments within timely manner
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met, and proper documentation exists for all shipments
  • Demonstrate competency with respect to customs brokerage products' standard operating procedures (SOP) and best practices
  • Manage customer invoicing, process vendor payables, and assist with receivables of assigned accounts
  • Compilation, classification, and general preparation of entries for Customs & DAWR Clearance
  • Operate within the Australian Customs ICS system
  • Receive and review documentation to input and transmit data for Customs and DAFF clearance
  • Facilitating Relationships:
  • Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with Customers, C.H.Robinson offices, Agents, and outside vendors
  • Promote a positive working relationship for all team members
  • Adhere to a high level of operational excellence with respect to on-time performance, accuracy, and customer service
  • Understand and learn to leverage C.H.Robinson's network of departments, support teams, and leadership
Requirements:
  • Australian residency or valid work visa
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience or knowledge of import/export processes and documentation
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs
  • High level of attention to detail

Benefits:

Robinson Oceania, we offer competitive salaries ranging from $65,000 - $90,000 AUD per annum, based on experience and qualifications, along with a range of benefits including flexible work arrangements, career development opportunities, and access to our confidential Employee Assistance Program.
