Leadership Position in Helpdesk Team Management

The role of a Helpdesk Team Lead involves leading a team of 10x Helpdesk Technicians in a collaborative and supportive work environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the leadership and management of the team
  • Administering accounts within Active Directory, Exchange and bespoke applications
  • Ensuring technical issues are resolved within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Developing procedures and processes for the Helpdesk
  • Fostering staff productivity and performance
  • Providing training, coaching and development to the team
  • Evaluating client satisfaction SLAs
  • Assisting with complex technical support requirements

To succeed in this position, you will need to have demonstrated experience in managing/leading a team, a strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Intune, Windows Server and network troubleshooting.

A tertiary education in Information Technology and relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, VMware, Cisco and Fortinet are beneficial. Prior experience working within a Managed Service Provider or Consultancy is also required.
