Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a full-time B1.1 or B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) in Brisbane.

  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on aircraft and components within a maintenance team.
  • Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements.
  • Service and clean hangar, tools and ground equipment.
  • Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary.

This position requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a Type rated licence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Requirements:

  • B1.1 or B2 Type rated licence
  • Demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work a flexible 38-hour work week plus additional hours as required
  • Willingness to accept the work environment of aircraft heavy maintenance
  • Sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and documentation
  • Working knowledge of WH&S procedures
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Skills:

  • SAAB 340 B1 and B2 licence highly desirable
  • Experience on transport category aircraft
  • Line maintenance operations experience
