Job Description:
">- The role of an ICT business analyst involves working closely with users and key stakeholders to establish and capture business requirements.
- This includes creating technical specifications for system functionality, communicating them effectively to internal stakeholders, and assessing proposed solutions.
- Additionally, the ICT business analyst must create a project proposal that includes a budget and resource allocation plan to increase the accuracy and efficiency of delivery.
- They are also responsible for creating user manuals for technical reference and providing end-user technical support.
- The ICT business analyst collaborates directly with users to optimize current business processes and recommend functional solutions.
- They determine the risks and difficulties related to project delivery, help with mitigation strategies, and escalate as required.
- The ICT business analyst engages in end-to-end system and business process reviews with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- They analyze current business processes and provide suggestions for improvement and implementation.
- The ICT business analyst leads the development of design and test cases for user acceptance testing in collaboration with developers and testers.
- They articulate requirements for development teams through user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Documentation of Functional and Non-functional Requirements is also a critical aspect of this role.
- The ICT business analyst supports the delivery and implementation of software, services, and systems in accordance with client requirements.
- They identify and communicate any potential issues or delays to the business manager where appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Bachelor's degree or higher-level qualifications or equivalent in Information Technology or Business Analysis.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience working as an ICT business analyst within the last five years.
- The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including providing leadership to a small team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience with diagnostic tools or methodologies.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
