Metropolitan South Region Job Opportunity

We are seeking qualified general or provisional registered psychologists who have a passion to work with students, parents, carers and school communities.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves providing services such as counselling, assessment and intervention, focusing on students' mental health and wellbeing. You will be required to:

  • Administer specialised psych-educational assessments of students with learning and/or adjustment difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individual and group counselling and therapeutic interventions with students, parents and families.
  • Support and manage diagnoses from external providers, monitoring students' progress.
  • Assist school communities to respond to critical incidents and provide counselling and support to affected students.
  • Identify needs and participate in the referral, coordination and planning of services for children, parents and families with other stakeholders.
