This role presents an opportunity to work as a mental health professional within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

We are seeking a qualified clinician who can provide brief and ongoing interventions, and develop collaborative individual care plans.

The ideal candidate will possess general AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective interventions to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other clinicians to participate in service planning and development.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and skills gained through qualifications and previous experience in a mental health service delivery environment.

They will also demonstrate proven judgment and evaluation skills, showing a working understanding of assessment and care planning.

Requirements
  • General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
  • Knowledge and skills gained through qualifications and previous experience in a mental health service delivery environment.
  • Proven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning.
  • Sound understanding of public, non-government and private mental health systems and programs, and associated non-mental health programs in a community setting.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Proven understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Eligibility to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
