Education Roles for Experienced Teachers

We are seeking experienced and qualified casual teachers to join our dynamic team. The roles will be day cover as well as extended cover for teachers on annual leave.

This role involves teaching students from Year 7 to Year 10 across a range of subjects, ensuring an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Teach students in primary and/or secondary subjects with creativity and enthusiasm.
  • Adapt Teaching Strategies: Modify teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Maintain Classroom Management: Ensure effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
  • Support Student Progress: Support students in their academic progress and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work collaboratively with staff and follow curriculum guidelines.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching at the secondary school level, 7-12, and also specialist subjects would be highly regarded.
  • Diverse Teaching Skills: Demonstrated ability to teach a wide range of subjects effectively and engage students with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent Classroom Management: Excellent classroom management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and disciplined learning environment.
  • Strong Assessment Skills: Strong assessment and evaluation skills, with the ability to monitor and report on student progress accurately.
  • Event Organisation: Experience in organising and supervising school activities and events.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in using educational technologies and creative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications:

  • A recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent.
  • NESA Accreditation:
