Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Swimming Teacher to join our team at Belgravia Leisure in Boronia, VIC.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified educator who is eager to share their knowledge and skills with students of all ages and abilities. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective swimming lessons that cater to diverse needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality swimming programs that promote water safety and swimming proficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt lesson plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement school swimming and after-school programs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificate.
  • A Certificate in Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching swimming and water safety, preferably in a school or aquatic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
