The Maintenance Specialist will provide a wide range of maintenance services across multiple sites in the Gippsland Region.
This includes internal and external building maintenance, painting, site enhancement work, shopfitting works, and the construction and repairs of furniture.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver repair and maintenance services to partners.
- Work across various disciplines including carpentry, joinery, shopfitting, plastering, painting, and tiling.
- Work independently to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Establish effective communication and develop strong partnerships.
- Familiarity with OH&S guidelines and experience in maintaining safe workplaces.
- Driver's Licence.
- Prior experience in construction or metal trades.
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of building fabrication.
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
Note: This is a highly specialized role requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Key Skills and QualificationsDegree Requirements: Relevant qualifications in a trade-related field.
Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Preferred Skills: Experience working at heights, electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude.
Working Conditions: Work may involve exposure to hazardous materials, confined spaces, and extreme weather conditions.
Physical Demands: Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull heavy loads, climb ladders, and work at heights.
