This is a rewarding career opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to lead and mentor a team in educational program development, implementation, and practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and guiding educators and children, researching and planning professional development tailored to the team's needs, planning and implementing critical reflection forums, collaborating on the service quality improvement plan and self-assessment, and guiding the direction of future planning and programming.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA approved equivalent qualification, with Educational Leader experience. A Current Working with Children Check NSW, along with First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates are also required. The successful applicant should have a passion for Early Years learning and development, aligned with the values of professionalism, high-quality care, inclusive and supportive relationships, unique learning environments, and play-based learning. Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Child Safe Standards is essential.
This role involves working closely with our 3-6 yrs Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisors to deliver high-quality services that promote the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children in our community. As an Educational Leader, you will support and mentor educators and children, facilitate the implementation of the service vision and philosophy, research and plan professional development tailored to the educators' needs, plan and implement critical reflection forums, collaborate on the service quality improvement plan and self-assessment, and guide the direction of future planning and programming.
We offer a competitive remuneration package, above-award wages ranging from Level 1 ECT - $40.28 to Level 4 ECT - $49.40, plus a $2.50 educational leader allowance and wage retention grant.
