Water and Sewer Training Opportunity

We're offering a traineeship in water and sewer operations, providing on-the-job training, mentorship, and a pathway to a qualification in a high-demand field.

The Role

You'll be part of a dedicated team delivering water and sewer services across the region. You may work at a water services depot or from other council sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repairing water mains and replacing valves
  • Maintenance of sewer pump stations
  • Responding to emergency situations
  • Using IT systems to monitor operations
  • Recording data and system readings for water and sewer networks

By the end of the traineeship, you'll have a nationally recognised Certificate III in Water Industry Operations and valuable hands-on experience.

  • A genuine interest in working in water and sewer operations
  • Motivation to grow your career in this essential industry
  • Dedication and reliability through previous study or work
  • At least a P1 driver's licence

Additional Information
  • Successful candidates commence employment after completing the traineeship

  • Tenure: Full-time 38 hours per week over 24 months
