Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data Analytics team at SafetyCulture. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in driving business growth by leveraging data insights and analysis.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Stakeholders, Product Teams, and Data Engineering. You will be responsible for analyzing user behavior data to identify patterns and opportunities for improving user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.

  • Analyzing large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Maintaining robust data models to support analysis and reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with data engineers to source, clean, and transform financial and business data for analysis.
  • Developing predictive models that can improve business outcomes and generate real commercial outcomes.

You will have the opportunity to stay abreast of emerging data analysis tools and techniques and contribute to the development of the data analysis function within SafetyCulture.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial acumen: A deep understanding of how data relates to commercial outcomes and strategy.
  • Data modeling expertise: Proficiency in relational database design, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling.
  • SQL skills: Ability to write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data for analysis.
  • Data visualization skills: Working knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Business acumen: Understanding of SafetyCulture's business model, financial operations, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
