We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our fire management program and activities within the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating fire management planning, prescribed fire and bushfire suppression, works programming, work standards and performance, liaison, environmental management, health and safety, and financial accountability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the fire management plan.
  • Coordinate the preparation and execution of prescribed fires and bushfire suppression efforts.
  • Maintain effective liaison with other internal and external parties/agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance.
