Job Title: Plan Management/Finance Ndis

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance and Plan Management Specialist. This role will involve working with our partners and providers to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) rules and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the NDIS, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in data entry roles where attention to detail is crucial. They will also be able to adapt to fast-paced change and have excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Entering invoices into a database timely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with our Partners and their providers/suppliers
  • Collaborating internally to improve best practices and outcomes within the Plan Management team
  • Growing our client base by actively promoting our services to NDIS participants, plan nominees, service providers, support Coordinators, and the disability network
  • Undergoing relevant training and personal development to stay up to date and compliant with relevant NDIS policies and procedures

Requirements include:

  • A strong understanding of the NDIS and its pricing arrangements and guidelines
  • Experience in data entry roles where attention to detail and maintaining efficiency are crucial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt and understand the NDIS price guide and provide timely advice and enter accurate invoice data
  • Excellent time management skills

Desirables include:

  • Knowledge and experience in the NDIS space, especially in plan management
  • Experience with using the Careview or any other Plan Management Software
  • Achievement of at least a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or other relevant qualifications/relevant experience
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the lived experience of people with a disability and the NDIS
