Leadership Role in Financial Planning

  • The Head of Paraplanning is responsible for leading a team of Paraplanners, providing guidance and direction to ensure the preparation and production of high-quality Statements of Advice for clients.">
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff to meet and exceed performance standards.">

Key Responsibilities

">
  1. ">
  2. Monitor and oversee the preparation of compliant Statements of Advice within the required timeframe.">
  3. Prepare and maintain current product information and technical information templates for use in Statements of Advice.">
  4. Ensure all FOFA obligations are adhered to, and utilise financial planning software to produce sophisticated projections.">
  5. Assist in the maintenance and updating of IRESS Portfolio System (IPS) data and Wealth Solver processes.">
  6. Ensure all documents produced are fully compliant and in line with relevant policies and regulations.">
  7. Contribute to the training and development of team members.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Completion of relevant formal qualifications, minimum RG146.">
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar is advantageous.">
  • Sound knowledge of front and back-end financial planning processes.">
  • Excellent influencing and persuasiveness skills.">
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to train staff and provide constructive feedback.">

  • Work performance will be evaluated based on the completion of quality, well-researched, and accurate Statements of Advice in a timely manner.">
