Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Support Worker to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Support Worker, you will be working directly with young people who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, providing support and care in a variety of settings.
Your Daily Tasks
- Building positive relationships with our clients and their families.
- Providing individualised support and care to meet the needs of each client.
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management.
- Transporting clients to appointments and activities.
- Participating in the development and implementation of individualised plans to support client goals and outcomes.
Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Working with Children Check.
- A current NDIS Worker Check.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- A National Police Check.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- The ability to work a 7-day shift work roster.
Desirable Qualifications
Prior experience in a similar role or a relevant qualification would be highly regarded.
